This week on the BOX...
DJ is in some pain, and on pain killers, but not THOSE pain killers from last week - so it should be a MUCH smoother show.
DJ laments the lack of new local music all the while rattling off all the new local music he has to play today. Still, he wonders what local bands are even doing with their music. Are they submitting it places? Are they just touring around? What's the current conventional wisdom? And, he wants to know why bands wouldn't go out of their way to send stuff into places like the BOX when there seems to be absolutely no downside to it.
We get a little R9 record insight and then DJ diverts into how he's been indirectly -albeit amusingly-insulted by some band members recently, including his own! He also strolls down memory lane to talk about ego and arrogance on the local circuit and some of the more ridiculous examples he's come across.
