This week on the BOX...

Three hundred and fifty.  (That's about tree-fitty)

350 hours is about as long as DJ calculates it will take to produce each single minute of music on the new R9 record.  It also happens to break down to 1250 hours of production per song.  That's effin' crazy!  (It's also a bit exaggerated - but who cares?  It's the BOX!)

DJ talks a lot about what goes into all those hours, what's still left to do on the record and why numbers like that should even matter to you.  Then... he takes a strange left turn into band psychology and postulates that the happiest people in the band probably aren't doing any real work.  He, of course, has nothing to back this up, but starts to gather anecdotal evidence throughout the remainder of the show and shares - what he thinks is - a prime example of exactly the problem.  And he's probably right.

How many hours it should take to be in a coverband, Charlotte's "dream summer vaca", why people should be nicer to Mikey at work and MORE!

 This ain't your mom's lunchbox.

Music from Of Mice & Men, 18th & Addison, Stabbing Westward, All New Episode, Dino Skatepark, Sleeping With Sirens, Deaf Havana, The Muckrakers, Kids Can't Fly, Craving Strange and MORE!
