This week on the BOX...
DJ's been to facebook jail... and couldn't care less. Not only does our host look absolutely awful this week, apparently he's been to facebook jail recently. After a solid year of fighting - fairly aggressively - with every stupid corner troll on the social media platform, DJ ends up in time-out for referring to "fat, worthless Americans". And despite losing his challenge to the P.C. police over at f**kbook, DJ still insists he's done nothing wrong, and in fact, is actually correct in his representation of the people he sees "every single day". He goes on to say how those very same people are absolutely ruining the world around him just by being complete pieces of sh*t in their existence, and he offers up a solution or two to a few recurring problems. He also hates people that praise "diet plans" for only pointing out that maybe you should stop with the soda and boxes of donuts for breakfast. But on the upside, he's figured out how his microphone works!
#teamUppity drops a ton of science on our host via the chat including a useful onion tip, and a way to (eventually) save gas flying from Alaska to Hawaii. DJ also talks about why it's generally bad for original bands to always stay in their lane. Although he allows for a few exceptions, he points out that there is no real growth available if you're constantly going to parrot yourself after established and current bands. He says that finding your own niche in those areas is the very least you need to do to ever stand out, let alone ever do anything great.
Why DJ can't look professional, no offense to Kentucky, why being stupid is a good reason to also be quiet and MORE!
