This week on the BOX...
DJ finds a "scientific report" claiming that metal-heads from the 80's were happier then, and are better adjusted now, than your average person. And after a slight dissertation on how science can be turned into "science" just by playing with the numbers, DJ kinda agrees with the findings.
He talks about life on the "fringe" and why it is indeed easier to establish your own identity and be your own "you" if you're not always competing with 85% of the population to be someone you aren't even. He's got some deep gratitude for the things he gets to experience out on his fringe, and takes more than a few moments to thank his "gang" for stepping on stage and singing along. Metaphorically and quite literally.
Why sippy-cups in bars are funny, DJ has plenty of "fat" pictures on FB to untag himself from, the greatest moment in duet history (for now) and MORE!
This ain't your mom's lunchbox.
Music from ADTR, Pathmaker, MeMyOwnSelf, Of Mice and Men, Against Me!, Sweet Tooth, Dino Skatepark, Know Your Enemy, Craving Strange and MORE!
