DJ has a lot to say about "Emily Doe", why she should matter so much, and what the whole thing actually says about "us" as a "people". <- barely.
He ties in the NY Times article, and upcoming memoir, into how he views the world as the parent of a daughter. He's, frankly, disgusted by the statistical obstacle course ahead of her, and offers up some suggestions for how everyone can do this job properly.
DJ also admits that he's feeling pretty good about some of the vocals he's recorded lately at rehearsal and he's glad he might actually be getting past the "i suck at singing" mentality he's had since he was a child. He also spends plenty of time mocking people that feel "compelled" to offer up their reviews of the new Tool record.
