DJ is struggling to keep it together ...again. After a very rocky start, he spends the rest of the show reeling from the death of Eddie Van Halen. He explains, or tries to, why it's less about the loss of the "man" and more about the "moments" that his existence are tied to. Which only seems to make things worse for a little while before finally rounding the corner by the end of the show.
DJ talks about why and how music is important and how it gets tied to the grander landmarks in our life. And he offers up the possibility that without that specific soundtrack, the tapestry probably wouldn't have been worth weaving in the first place.
