DJ has been incensed - once again - by a meme on facebook... and no one on the BOX is even remotely surprised. Our host goes on a tirade about how the "rich and powerful" in this country are never going to do something in your best interest - unless it happens to align with theirs. But no one with money, power, station or influence will give up as much as an inch for you, or for us. He is offended by monster-big companies playing us by "doing good things" with the money they've taken from us and so DJ promises to never round up for charity with a big company again. #fuckthem He's also made some changes around the BOX and it doesn't seem to help one bit.
DJ drop some old school R9 history when he recounts the events that would lead to their fairly lengthy alliance with "Cracked Allice" and has some fond memories of the band as well as the time spent with them. He also has a lot of kind worlds for Our Lady Peace, Bo Burnham's new Netflix special and Real Friends' former singer Dan Lambton. He's also (finally) optimistic about that bands future.
